Mar Floor Lamp

DescriptionLaura Kirar’s playfully theatrical natural lamp made of rope is woven into palm forms – as seen with Mar floor lamp and Mar pendant and chandelier - call to mind the classic era of the 1930’s in the coastal south of France. Kirar pays homage to the details of casually curated Mediterranean interiors with their influences of aged formal furniture, the micro-climate combinations of tropical plants and pines, the passion for all things exotic from carved Spanish varguen~o to primitive and sculptural African chairs.
