Banbury Park Pavilion, Christchurch
Interior Design: Ryan Twomey - Mostra Design
Banbury Park Pavilion in Christchurch is a premium retirement village interior where generous proportions, rich timber detailing and layered decorative elements create a warm and sophisticated series of communal spaces.
Eunice Taylor lighting was used extensively throughout the project, with a considered mix of decorative fittings and custom-designed pieces helping to give each area its own character. Large-scale pendants respond to the volume of the architecture, while repeated wall lights bring rhythm, warmth and a sense of drama to the interior.
Among the bespoke pieces are the semi-recessed, Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired ceiling lights, designed specifically for the project in collaboration with Ryan Twomey of Mostra Design. Their strong geometric form sits beautifully alongside the timber detailing and architectural grid, adding another layer of craftsmanship to the space.
